That is why we are NICEIC members, all of our staff hold CSCS cards, and we have completed comprehensive IPAF, asbestos awareness, health, safety and first aid training. We turn up to every job with the same professional, ‘can do’ attitude and we take care of your property and assets as we work. We even wear shoe covers so that we don’t make a mess!
This customer-focused ethos stems from Ti Installations two directors, Kris Johnson and Mark Copley. These experienced electrical engineers have lived and breathed the installations environment, throughout their whole careers. Not only does this mean that, together, there are virtually no installation queries they cannot answer. It has also means they know exactly what commercial and domestic customers are looking for.
With 12 years’ engineering experience, Kris began his career with a hands-on role in a power tool and commercial generator hire firm. His expertise then grew when he spent eight years specialising in the installation of Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) technologies. Working with retail customers throughout the UK, this is where Kris’s passion and knowledge for all things technical really developed. A City & Guilds trained electrician, Kris then worked as an independent electrical engineer, expanding upon his experience working in domestic and varied commercial environments, and cementing his position as a trusted security installations expert.
Mark has over 16 years’ technical experience. He left school to work in his father’s computing business, where he spent five years developing on-the-job technical knowledge. He left to deliver specialist computing expertise within the retail environment, before establishing his own electrical firm. Also a City & Guilds trained electrician, Mark began by providing PAT- testing services for businesses, but as his reputation grew so too did the nature and complexity of enquiries he received from customers throughout the country.
Having worked together in the past, Kris and Mark soon realised that, collaboratively, they could offer something different. Installations specialists spanning security, electrical and audio are extremely rare, especially in West Yorkshire. Plus, with a number of existing satisfied customers in the county and beyond, recommending the duo via word of mouth, the demand for their multi-disciplined expertise already existed.
And so Ti Installations was born. Both actively involved in day-to-day installations, Kris is particularly responsible for supplier and customer relationships management, whilst Mark oversees the company’s financial resources and spearheads new product research.
